What Information do we collect?

We ask you to provide certain information so you can be identified while using our site(s) or app(s) and/or service(s) and to better understand your needs in order to provide better services.

Upon signing up to our site(s) or app(s) and/or service(s), we will ask you to provide the following: Your full name, date of birth, email address(s), geographical location (such as city and/or town) and a unique username and password for access to our site(s) or app(s) and/or service(s). You can voluntary supply optional information such as phone number(s), address(s), post code(s), interests, company, jobs title, websites and social media accounts.

If you connect with us via a third party social media platform(s) (e.g. Facebook and/or Twitter), then you will be asked to consent for us to obtain and use your information from those respective platforms. The information we capture will be specified during the access request. These respective platforms will then supply us with an access token, which will grant us permission to post onto your timeline and/or newsfeed within that platform, whenever you give us permission to do so.

While you browse our site(s) or app(s) and/or service(s), we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address and we will record your session actively in order to capture information that helps us learn about your browser, operating system and site usage. This data is used to help us improve our network performance, measure web analytics, and block nuisance users.

We may also collect information about you from third parties, such as demographic, geo-location information, made available from third party website(s), platform(s) or database(s) (e.g. facebook, twitter, linked ect).

How do we use your information?

Your information may be used to customise the website according to your interests and help us to improve our product(s) and service(s). We may also use your information for Internal record keeping.

We may periodically contact you via email, sms, facebook messenger, twitter, phone or post about upcoming events, news, features, services, special offers or other updates which we think you may find interesting. We may also periodically contact you for market research purposes.

If we have important information regarding your account, such as a data breach, or a security issue, we will still contact you regardless of weather you have opted out of these services.

We will never contact you for any other reason unless you have agreed for us to do so.

We will never contact you via email, sms, Facebook messenger or asking you to confirm your account information, or asking for any other personal information.

Disclosure of Information

We will never, share, sell, disclose, or rent your personal information to any third party organisation in any way other then what we have disclosed in this policy. We will disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

We may share aggregated demographic information with our partners, clients and advertisers. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person. We may also use such aggregated information and statistics for monitoring the Site and App usage in order to help us develop the Site or Apps and our services and may provide such aggregated information to third parties for that purpose.

We may partner with another party to provide specific services. When you sign up for these services, we will share names or other contact information that is necessary for the third party to provide these services. These parties are not allowed to use personal information except for the purpose of providing these services.

Orders

When you purchase something from us, weather online, via email, over the phone or in person, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.

When you provide us with your personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to us collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

Online Payments

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then we may store your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).

Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Servers

Our site is hosted on third party servers provided by GoDaddy.com. They provide us with the online servers and databases that allows us to sell our products and services to you.Your data is stored through our “FreeMee” data storage, databases and the general FreeMee application.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.
